Marcus Lumber Ladies Night Out 2014!

MARCUS – A long line of women were stretched out over a Marcus city block waiting for the crew inside Marcus Lumber to open the doors on their 3rd Annual Ladies’ Night Out event on Sept. 25.

Over 300 women attended the evening, where they received a free gift bag. The ladies took advantage of the many one-night only promotions found not only inside the 18,000 square foot showroom but also outside under the 800 square foot tent brought in for the evening.

Perhaps the most sought after promotion of the event was the 40% off sale on any Delta branded faucet, where women amassed a combined savings of over $11,000 for the night.

Grant Leavitt of Marcus Lumber said “It was a great night where the ladies were not only able to have fun, but were able to save a considerable amount of money with the promotions we were able to get lined up. A big thanks to everyone who attended!”

Marcus Lumber showcased many “handy-ma’am” do-it-yourself projects ladies could tackle around the house such as a peel and stick wall tile, a heavy duty deck restore paint, a durable kitchen countertop transformation kit, and a demonstration on how to hang pictures up with no tools. Several women also tried out their power tool skills with the hands-on practice area set up under the big-top.

In addition, women could sit in on several seminars featuring the trendy new interior barn door style, the ever-popular Onyx bathroom products, or an entertaining seminar on how to clean your homes carpet. There was a fully operational working shower head, kitchen faucet that turned on with the touch of a hand, and a walk-in tub.

All of which gave the opportunity for the ladies to see first-hand how these innovated new products work. The event also offered hundreds of dollars in door prizes given away.
